Welcome, friends! We are a Northern Virginia-based
husband-and-wife team of photographers with over 35 years of combined photography experience. Our philosophy is simple -
anything that is worth doing is worth doing well. The art of photography has been our lifelong passion, and we are fortunate in a sense that we have been able to continue pursuing this passion together as a couple, building off of and complementing each other's strengths and unique perspectives.
Any person can buy high-quality equipment, and, with enough practice, take a decent photo, but what separates a good photographer from a great photographer is the ability to
see beyond the obvious. A "perfect" photo combines the photographer's artistic vision and technical expertise with the subject's state of being, giving us a glimple of his or her innermost feelings and thoughts. This is why a particularly striking photo has the power to bring us to tears, happy or sad.
